DIED. Ray Goulding, 68, zany radio and TV comedian and co-star, with Bob Elliott, of the beloved Bob and Ray show; of kidney disease; in Manhasset, N.Y. Using a variety of voices from screeching falsetto to booming baritone, the two men created a memorable cast of characters and dramas: Wally Ballou, the bumbling interviewer; Mary McGoon, the culinary star who seasoned her recipes with homespun advice; and the long-running soap-opera spoof, "Mary Backstayge, Noble Wife."
